DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the key index of DSE, rose over 4.00 points to stand at 4809.66 at 12:06 pm.

Trade deals stood at 34891 with transaction at Tk 1447.14 million.

Of the issues traded, 144 advanced, 91 declined and 70 remained unchanged.



ISLAMIBANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 83.21 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8984.54 by gaining over 22.67 points at 12:04 am.

Out of the issues traded, 87 gained, 60 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
