DHAKA: National Board of Revenue (NBR) chairman Nazibur Rahman said that they are preparing a list of dishonest businesspeople.

He made the disclosure at a press conference at Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) building on Thursday.

Customs intelligence and investigations directorate organized the conference.

The NRB boss said that the list will be prepared to nab the people who are doing business evading revenue.

According to Nazibur, at least two bridges can be built over the mighty river Padma every year, if revenue can be collected properly in the country.

Moreover, state minister for finance MA Mannan said that they are amending NBR Act to strengthen customs department.

NBR director general Dr Mainul Khan, among others, was also present at the conference.
