DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 13.36 points to stand at 4777.60 at 11:12pm.

Trade deals stood at 11652 with volume of transactions at Tk 422.82 million.

Of the issues traded, 56 advanced, 124 declined and 59 remained unchanged.



TITASGAS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 27.93 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8909.54 by dropping over 22.78  points at about 11:18pm.

Out of the issues traded, 31 gained, 68 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
