Holcim organizes cultural fiesta

DHAKA: Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Limited recently organized an Award Function cum Cultural Fiesta titled “Holcim NoboUddipon” to rejuvenate the company’s ties with its channel partners at International Convention City, Bashundhara.

The main aim of the event was to nurture and strengthen the relationship between Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Limited and its channel partners and reward the top performers in the market.

During the Business Session, Sumanta Pandit, Managing Director of Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Limited discussed the business values and goals with the channel partners; while Vice President – Sales & Marketing Sudeep Chatterjee elaborated sales and distribution strategy of the company.

The welcome address was delivered by Rifat Rahman, General Manager-Sales, Holcim Bangladesh.

Performance Recognition Awards were distributed among the top performing channel partners of Holcim Bangladesh at the program.

The country-wide top five performers of Holcim Bangladesh who were awarded at the program are:  Salim Ahammd-Salim Traders, Md Jalil-Estia Enterprise, Md Shahjahan Talukder-Sahajahan Talukder, Md. Sharif Hossain-Salim Store-2, Md. Alamgir Fakir-Salim Store.

About 700 channel partners of Holcim Bangladesh along with their family members attended the event. 

Eminent music artists Kumar Bishwajit, Andrew Kishor and Akhi Alamgir, and supermodel Mehjabin enthralled the guests with their brilliant artistic performance.

Besides cultural programs, the event was a unique blending of fun, entertainment and exchange of business ideas and views.

Achintya Pal, CFO; Syed Masud Hasan, VP-HR & Administration; Kwang Se Chung, VP-Manufacturing; Pervin Sultana-VP-Supply Chain Management, among other senior officials of Holcim Bangladesh attended the program.
