DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the weel.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Broad Index (DSEX) shed over 5.543 points to stand at 4758.33 at 12:16pm.

Trade deals stood at 50816 with volume of transactions at Tk 2088.09 million.

Of the issues traded, 124 advanced, 121 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

AMANFEED topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 391.04 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8872.13 by dropping over 13.96 points at about 12:12pm.

Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 90 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
