DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 1.84 points to stand at 4765.7 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 125525 with transaction at Tk 4985.92 million. Of the issues traded, 174 advanced, 95 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

AMANFEED  topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 605.80 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were SPCL, EMERALDOIL, SQURPHARMA, KBPPWBIL, LINDEBD, UPGDCL, LAFSURCEML, FARCHEM     and IBNSINA.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 380.71 by gaining over 5 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 130 gained, 94 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
