DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 6.93 points to stand at 4772.65 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 118654 with transaction at Tk 4340.91 million. Of the issues traded, 184 advanced, 98 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

AMANFEED topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 211.11 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SAPORTL, FARCHEM, SQURPHARMA, SPCL, EMERALDOIL, LAFSURCEML, LINDEBD, UPGDCL and BARKAPOWER.
 


Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8890.98 by gaining over 0.73 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 133 gained, 98 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
