DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Monday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, gained by 17.68 points or 0.37 per cent to 4790.33after the first one and half hour of trade at 12:12 pm.

Trade deals stood at 51761 with volume of transactions at Tk 1885.30 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 155 advanced, 103 declined and 43 remained unchanged.

UNITEDAIR was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 132.50 million changing hands till then followed by AMANFEED, UPGDCL, SQURPHARMA and BSRMLTD.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 38.97 points to 8924.17, also at 12:12pm.

Of the issues traded till then, 111 gained, 58 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
