DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed gain in early hours of trading on Thursday,

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, gained by 3.40 points or 0.07 per cent to 4761.83 after the first one and half hour of trade at 12:12pm.

Trade deals stood at 42311 with volume of transactions at Tk 1644.55 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 122 advanced, 126 declined and 57 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 114.450 million changing hands till then followed by  AL-HAJTEX, LINDEBD, AMANFEED, EMERALDOIL and GP.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 4.37 points to 8869.70, also at 12:10pm.

Of the issues traded till then, 85 gained, 77 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
