DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- witnessed gain in early hours of trading on Sunday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, gained by 11.24 points or 0.26 per cent to 4771.39 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:42 am.

Trade deals stood at 35286 with volume of transactions at Tk 1313.89 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 153 advanced, 86 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 91.95 million changing hands till then followed by ACI, AMANFEE, DESHBANDHU, LAFSURCEML and RENATA.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 3.40 points to 8873.27, also at 11:40am.

Of the issues traded till then, 88 gained, 62 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
