DHAKA: State minister for labor M Mujibul Haque has ordered the readymade garment (RMG) factory owners to pay salary of 15 days of current month and festival bonuses to the workers within September 20.

He was addressing a meeting with owners and workers at his secretariat office in the capital on Tuesday.

Mujibul Haque said, “The factories, those have not capacity to pay advance salary of 15 days, they should pay at leaser 10 to 15 percent, so that workers can enjoy eid festival happily with family members”.

He also said, a policy has been formulated for RGM workers and it be published as gazette soon.
