DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Tuesday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went up by 17.508 points or 0.36 percent to 4849.105 after the first two-hour of trade at 12:10pm.

Trade deals stood at 28672 with volume of transactions at Tk 1344.791-million.

Of the issues traded till then, 132 advanced, 106 declined and 55 remained unchanged.

The Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hours with its Selective Category Index gaining 26.27 points to 9040.67, at 12:08pm.

Of the 178 issues traded till then, 69 gained, 79 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
