DHAKA: A three-day travel and tourism fair, to be organized by Tour Operators’ Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), will begin at Bashundhara International Convention Centre in city on November 19.

Organizers of the upcoming Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) said at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Thursday.

Earlier they announced that BTTF to be held on October 15-17.

TOAB acting president Mohammad Rafeuzzaman, vice-president SM Hafizur Rahman, advisor Shiblul Azam Qoreshi and event management company Prionti chief executive officer (CEO) Monowar Hossain Pathan, among others, were present at the conference.

Rafeuzzaman said that their earlier date had been changed following the recent murder of two foreign nationals in the country.

Local and foreign tour operators, travel agents, airlines, hotels, banks and education institutions are expected to take part in the fair, he added.
