DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed rose over 48.02 points only to stand at 4776.15 at the close of day’s trading.
 
Trade deals stood at 89677 with volume of transactions at Tk 4164.77 million.

Of the issues traded, 186 advanced, 102 declined and 28 remained unchanged.

UCBL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 178.33 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were MHSML, BXPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, BRACBANK, TRUSTBANK, OLYMPIC, PREMIERCEM, CITYBANK     and SAIFPOWER.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8912.94 by gaining over 108.66 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 150 gained, 58 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
