DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 12.19 points to stand at 4703.89 at 1:04pm.

Trade deals stood at 59797 with volume of transactions at Tk 2300.37 million.

Of the issues traded, 119 advanced, 120 declined and 67 remained unchanged.

KDSALTD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 375.97 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8763.96 by dropping over 24.83 points at about 1:02pm.

Out of the issues traded, 86 gained, 79 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
