Both DSE, CSE down at opening

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- slipped in early hours of trading on Sunday.
   
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, shed over 23.52 points or 0.50 per cent to 4653.10 after the first one-hour of trade at 10:58am.

Trade deals stood at 8909 with volume of transactions at Tk 369.53 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 50 advanced, 113 declined and 38 remained unchanged.



LAFSURCEML was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 71.96 million changing hands till then followed by BSRMSTEEL, SAIFPOWER, KDSALTD, BSRMLTD and CVOPRL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 58.43 points to 8653.27, also at 11:00am.

Of the issues traded till then, 28 gained, 59 declined and eight remained unchanged.
