HILI (DINAJPUR): Export and import activities between Bangladesh and India will remain closed for eight days from October 18 due to the celebration of Durga Puja.

However, immigration will be kept normal.

Banglahili customs CnF agents’ association secretary Shahinur Islam Shahin told banglanews that India’s Hili exporters and CnF agents association has taken decision to keep export and activities closed for eight days due to Durga Puja celebration.

It will resume on October 25, he added.

After getting a letter signed by association general secretary Ashok Kumar Mandal, we have informed the exporters and importers, customs station and people concerned regarding the matter, Shahin added.
