CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Export and import activities of the country’s second largest land port Sona Masjid will remain closed for six days on the occasions of Durga Puja and Ashura from October 19.

However, the immigration activities will remain open in special arrangement.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sona Masjid land port CnF agents’ association general secretary Shafiur Rhman Tanu said that the export and import activities will resume on October 24.

Sona Masjid immigration in-charge sub-inspector (SI) Sanowar Hossain said that they will keep immigration open in special arrangement during the vacation.
