8 day vacation at Burimari land port

LALMONIRHAT: Export and import activities of Burimari land port will remain closed for eight days on the occasion of ongoing Durga Puja from Monday.

But immigration activities will continue in special arrangement.

Trading between Bangladesh, India and Bhutan will resume on October 27.

Burimari land port CnF traders’ association convener and also Patgram Upazila Parishad chairman Ruhul Amin Babul confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Burimari land port immigration in-charge sub-inspector (SI) Aminul Islam said that though the export and import activities will be closed, the immigration activities will remain normal.

Burimari land port customs assistant commissioner (AC) Ekramul Haque said the trading will be normal from October 27.
