DSE, CSE see early fall

DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – slipped in early hours of trading on Wednesday.
   
DSEX, the broad index of the DSE, went down 19.60 points or 0.42 per cent to 4638.05 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:47am.

Trade deals stood at 22985 with volume of transactions at Tk 976.56 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 87 advanced, 128 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 132.75 million changing hands till then followed by KDSALTD, BXPHARMA, SPCL, AMANFEED, BENGALWTL.

The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 22.55 points to 8632.81, also at 11:42am.

Of the issues traded till then, 55 gained, 73 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
