DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 27.35 points to stand at 4561.97 at 12:00pm.

Trade deals stood at 26625 with volume of transactions at Tk 870.04 million.

Of the issues traded, 56 advanced, 176 declined and 54 remained unchanged.



SINGERBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 81.57 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8484.45 by dropping over 45.72 points at about 11:56am.

Out of the issues traded, 30 gained, 100 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
