DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 51.60 points to stand at 4475.81 at the close of day’s trading. 

Trade deals stood at 97645 with transaction at Tk 4156.42 million. Of the issues traded, 238 advanced, 44 declined and 35 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 496.17 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were BEXIMCO, KDSALTD, OLYMPIC, SAIFPOWER, TITASGAS, SQURPHARMA, QSMDRYCELL, SPCL and BXPHARMA.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8310.85 by gaining over 82.32 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 174 gained, 40 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
