DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 11.70 point to stand at 4585.10 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 168947 with transaction at Tk 5862.86 million. Of the issues traded, 94 advanced, 146 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

SIMTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 292.71 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, OLYMPIC, SAIFPOWER, IFADAUTOS, FARCHEM, UPGDCL, LAFSURCEML, TITASGAS     and SQURPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8528.15 by gaining over 27.89 points.

Out of the issues traded, 113 gained, 105 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
