SYLHET: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday disclosed the budget size for 2016-17 Fiscal Year saying that it would be around Tk 340,000-crore.

He made the disclosure while addressing a rally of party workers at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium in Sylhet.

The minister also introduced his brother Dr Abdul Momen, also former ambassador and permanent representative of Bangladesh to UN, with everyone present at the rally.

Ruling Awami League (AL) central committee organizing secretary Advocate Misbah Uddin, Sylhet metropolitan AL president Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran, also former city mayor, general secretary Asad Uddin, district unit AL president Lutfur Rahman, its general secretary Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury and local AL leaders were present here.
