DHAKA: The first ever Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Summit is underway on Wednesday in the city aimed at branding Bangladesh in running business, development and investment.
 
The ICT Division and Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) jointly organised the conference.

The BPO summit has started at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in city’s Karwanbazar around 10:15am.

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, ICT adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, addressed the summit ‘BPO Summit-2015’, with Information, Communication and Technology State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak in the chair.

Organisers said the summit is being arranged aiming too attract local and foreign investors into the BPO sector. Country’s young generation will also get information about the growing industry through the summit.
