DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 6.11 points only to stand at 4587.37 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 107754 with volume of transactions at Tk 3814.13 million.

Of the issues traded, 144 advanced, 126 declined and 53 remained unchanged.



AFTABAUTO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 165.10 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, QSMDRYCELL, DELTALIFE, BSRMSTEEL, UPGDCL, KDSALTD, MICEMENT and SHASHADNIM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8518.76 by dropping over 15.71 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 117 declined and 41 remained unchanged.
