DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed positive trends in share-price indices on Tuesday, the third trading session of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 10.34 point or 0.23 percent to stand at 4453.97 at 11:30am.

Trade deals stood at 22,237 with transaction at Tk 763.00 million. Of the issues traded, 142 advanced, 61 declined and 56 remained unchanged.

LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 92.91 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BSRMLTD, Orion Pharma, Quasem Drycell and CMCKAMAL.

Chittagong stocks followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8316.72 by gaining over 10.87 points at 11:44am.

Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 43 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
