DHAKA: Country’s stock market closed mixed in share-price indices in post-holiday session on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 6.90 point to stand at 4520.87 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 82353 with transaction at Tk 2865.93 million. Of the issues traded, 140 advanced, 131 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 192.69 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were QSMDRYCELL, SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, REGENTTEX, SAIFPOWER, BSRMSTEEL, AFTABAUTO, KDSALTD     and DELTALIFE.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8399.16 by dropping over 7.48 points.

Out of the issues traded, 88 gained, 113 declined and 38 remained unchanged.
