DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled logo of Simanto Bank, a bank for members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), at a program of BGB Day 2015.

During the time, she also inaugurated three 50-bed hospitals in Chuadanga, Thakurgaon and Khagrachori.

Prior to that the primer took salute from the paramilitary force and witnessed its parade at Pilkhana Bir Uttam Anwar Hossian Parade Ground on Sunday morning.

After arrival at BGB headquarters, home minister Asaduzzaman Khan and BGB director general Major General Aziz Ahmed welcomed the prime minister.

Later, PM Sheikh Hasina addressed the audience on the occasion of BGB Day.

She also awarded 60 BGB members with Bangladesh Border Guard Padak, Bangladesh Border Guard Seba Padak, President Padak and President Seba Padak for their bravery and outstanding contribution in the service.
