DHAKA:  Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 9.33 points only to stand at 4511.53 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 104401 with volume of transactions at Tk 3479.05 million.

Of the issues traded, 129 advanced, 151 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 232.16 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were QSMDRYCELL, EMERALDOIL, SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, SINGERBD, SHASHADNIM, KDSALTD, DELTALIFE and KPCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8384.32 by dropping over 14.84 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 89 gained, 119 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
