DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 55.57 points to stand at 4567.11 at 11:27 am.

Trade deals stood at 27334 with transaction at Tk 1039.99 million.

Of the issues traded, 210 advanced, 31 declined and 26 remained unchanged.



QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 86.39 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8475.90 by gaining over 91.58 points at 10:51am.

Out of the issues traded, 125 gained, 17 declined and seven remained unchanged.
