DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 9.99 points to stand at 4618.32 at 12:05 pm.

Trade deals stood at 36187with transaction at Tk 1233.48 million.

Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 98 declined and 61 remained unchanged.



BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 84.69 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8561.85 by gaining over 11.78 points at 12:00pm.

Out of the issues traded, 70 gained, 74 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
