DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 0.71 points to stand at 4597.52 at 12:11 pm.

Trade deals stood at 36094 with transaction at Tk 1308.32 million.

Of the issues traded, 120 advanced, 103 declined and 66 remained unchanged.



QSMDRYCELL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 62.31 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8537.45 by gaining over 3.97 points at 12:06pm.

Out of the issues traded, 80 gained, 65 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
