DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 8.10 points to stand at 4604.91 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 94383 33 with transaction at Tk 3673.17 million. Of the issues traded, 147 advanced, 122 declined and 47 remained unchanged.

SINGERBD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 133.03 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were QSMDRYCELL, BXPHARMA, BEXIMCO, BSRMSTEEL, BSRMLTD, ACI, SQURPHARMA, UPGDCL and EMERALDOIL.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8535.55 by gaining over 2.07 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 95 gained, 102 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
