DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 5.62 point to stand at 4624.01 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 97323 with transaction at Tk 3664.22 million. Of the issues traded, 119 advanced, 153 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 255.85 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, EMERALDOIL, UPGDCL, KDSALTD, SUMITPOWER, SAPORTL, QSMDRYCELL, SINGERBD and BSRMLTD.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8584.14 by gaining over 12.02 points.

Out of the issues traded, 99 gained, 102 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
