DHAKA: Industries minister Amir Hossain Amu asked the tannery owners to shift their factories from city’s Hazaribagh area by 72 hours.

‘Otherwise, the factories will be shut down,’ he warned.

The minister also passed the directives to BSCIC to send legal notice to the factory owners at a meeting at ministry conference room in city on Sunday (January 10).

A ministry press release said that the tannery owners have asked to shift their factories from Hazaribagh to Savar industrial zone by 72 hours.

According to the release, the minister has ordered to cancel the plots of the tannery owners in Savar if they failed to shift them.
