DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with mixed trend of share-price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose over 1.63 points to stand at 4671.14 at 12:09pm.

Trade deals stood at 48526 with volume of transactions at Tk 1661.74 million.

Of the issues traded, 122 advanced, 115 declined and 64 remained unchanged.

ITC topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 87.04 million having changed hands.

On the other hand, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8671.26 by dropping over 3.56 points at about 12:10pm.

Out of the issues traded, 87 gained, 79 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
