DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Sunday, first trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 31.80 points only to stand at 4626.13 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 125702 with volume of transactions at Tk 4277.69 million.

Of the issues traded, 162 advanced, 118 declined and 41 remained unchanged.



EMERALDOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 258.56 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were UPGDCL, ALLTEX, CNATEX, ITC, IFADAUTOS, DACCADYE, CMCKAMAL, UNITEDAIR and SAIFPOWER.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8653.50 by dropping over 0.89 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 99 gained, 121 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
