DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with upward trend of share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose over 4.70 points to stand at 4614.82 at 11:57am.

Trade deals stood at 29459 with volume of transactions at Tk 1045.75 million.

Of the issues traded, 115 advanced, 122 declined and 41 remained unchanged.



ALARABANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 122.44 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed up to 8636.03 by gaining over 14.66 points at about 11:54am.

Out of the issues traded, 83 gained, 58 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
