DHAKA: Country’s stock markets has been witnessing fall in its price indices on Thursday (January 28).

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, loses over 9.96 points to stand at 4576.04 after the first hour of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 34913 with volume of transactions at Tk 1450.106 million.

Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 133 declined and 58 remained unchanged.



ALLTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 91.65 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ALARABANK, EMERALDOIL, OLYMPIC, ITC, BDTHAI, PREMIERCEM, RSRMSTEEL, DACCADYE and BXPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks, however, saw upward trends with the CSE Selective Categories Index gained 2.60 points to stand at 8581.65.

Out of the issues traded, 61 gained, 79 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
