DHAKA: Investors witnessed minor fall in benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 12.40 points only to stand at 4573.58 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 107636 with volume of transactions at Tk 4050.49 million.

Of the issues traded, 99 advanced, 174 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

ALLTEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 157.95 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, ITC, BDTHAI, ALARABANK, OLYMPIC, EMERALDOIL, DACCADYE, BXPHARMA     and PREMIERCEM.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8566.28 by dropping over 12.76 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 149 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
