DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 18.23 points to stand at 4559.12 at 11:37am.

Trade deals stood at 31762 with transaction at Tk 1293.93 million.

Of the issues traded, 179 advanced, 63 declined and 43 remained unchanged.



APOLOISPAT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 158.14 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8546.88 by gaining over 49.22 points at 11:34am.

Out of the issues traded, 94 gained, 30 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
