DHAKA: Trading in the two bourses of the country ended in positive trends in its price indices at the end of transactions on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

DSEX, the chief index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained over 9.24 points or over 0.20 percent to stand at 4570.01.

Trade deals stood at 98387 with volume of transactions at Tk3368.17 million.

Of the issues traded, 168 advanced, 107 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

CITYBANK topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk158.24 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were CVOPRL, BXPHARMA, ALLTEX, ITC, FUWANGCER, SQUAREPHARMA, BSC, UPGDCL and OLYMPIC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8550.03 by gaining over 14.00 points.

Out of the issues traded, 125 gained, 91 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
