DHAKA: Planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said that country’s per capita income has increased two 2 USD, reaching 1,316 USD.

He made this disclosure to the media after the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) meeting at NEC Conference Room in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area on Tuesday (February 9).

The minister further said that the per capita income has increased following the country’s higher GDP rate from 6.51 percent to 6.55 percent.

Moreover, the ECNEC meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, approved eight projects with Tk 2,865-crore.
