DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 3.41 points to stand at 4573.42 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 100320 with transaction at Tk 3624.1 million. Of the issues traded, 157 advanced, 131 declined and 38 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 259.41 million having changed hands.



The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, ALLTEX, ITC, IFADAUTOS, OLYMPIC, UPGDCL, LINDEBD, QSMDRYCELL and CMCKAMAL.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8569.98 by gaining over 14.57 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 127 gained, 84 declined and 36 remained unchanged.
