DHAKA: SBA (Small Business Administration) of USA has honored Bangladesh-origin business personality Aziz Ahmad, CEO of UTC Associates for his extraordinary contribution in the field of business and financial sector for more than two decades in the USA.

He was honored at NASDAQ closing Bell ceremony took place on February 12 in NASDAQ MarketSite located at 4 Times Square in New York, where Maria Contreras-Sweet, Administrator of SBA and a member of President Obama's cabinet, joined.

Over 50 entrepreneurs were present, including NASDAQ and SBA leadership team, chamber and business leaders in this auspicious event.

Small Business Administration (SBA) is a United States government agency that provides support to entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Ringing The Closing Bell at the NASDAQ is very special, where stocks of over 2,300 U.S. companies and over 275 foreign companies and its market capitalization of the stocks listed is over $4.5 trillion, the bell watched live by over 100 million people worldwide.

Aziz Ahmad is inducted into highly coveted SBA Emerging Leaders program in 2015.
 
Aziz Ahmad, Vice Chairman, USPAACC-NE, led the delegation team of US Pan Asian Chamber of Commerce where Susan Allen is its National President and the CEO.

 He founded Vonair, Inc. a leading multimedia-based applications and Netra Systems and co invested Vidtel and later successfully sold it.
 
Aziz Ahmad is the board member of Engineering Leadership Council at the Grove School of Engineering at the City College of New York.
 
He is the recipient of the City University of New York’s First Asian American Distinguished Alumni Award.  He was inducted into the Wall of Honor at the Grove School of Engineering, City College of City University of New York.

A leading community leader and benefactor, Aziz Ahmad has established the "Aziz Ahmad Leadership Lectures Series" at the City College of New York, CUNY where fortune 500 corporate leaders are invited to offer keynote speeches.
