DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week..

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stocks Exchange, rose over 4.48 point to stand at 4585.04 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 106759 with transaction at Tk 4457.47 million. Of the issues traded, 119 advanced, 166 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 430.15 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, SQURPHARMA, UPGDCL, BSRMSTEEL, SINGERBD, AMANFEED, OLYMPIC, IFADAUTOS and SAIFPOWER.

Chittagong stocks followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8583.38 by dropping over 15.70 points.

Out of the issues traded, 75 gained, 145 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
