DHAKA: Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank (AVUB), a government owned specialized bank, is offering 29 types of loans for agricultural sectors to fulfill cherished dreams of farmers.

All information about the bank is available at stall no-108 in the three-day Dairy, Aqua and Pet Animal Fair that began at Bangabandhu International Convention Center (BICC) in city on Thursday (February 18).

AVUB managing director M Shams-ul Islam told banglanews that the bank has won hearts of many customers by offering loan without mortgage and low interest loans along with cooperation, suggestions and information.

He also said the bank has been working for last two decades to alleviate poverty, woman empowering and economic development.

He further said that currently the bank is operating in 219 upazilas and planning to cover each and every upazila of the country to ensure services to people’s doorstep.

Shams-ul Islam said, “The major feature of this bank is that the grassroot people can get loans under easy conditions to change their fate.”

AVUB’s senior officer (Computer Sub-Section) Mohammad Muhibur Rahman said the agricultural economy of the country will be benefited by its loan services in the sector.
