DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses-- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 0.08 points to stand at 4587.58 at 11:52am.

Trade deals stood at 32589 with volume of transactions at Tk 1498.64 million.

Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 124 declined and 65 remained unchanged.



LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 140.18 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8603.77 by dropping over 6.09 points at about 11:50am.

Out of the issues traded, 49 gained, 80 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
