DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- gained in early hours of trading on Wednesday.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 13.45 points to stand at 4611.79 at 11:34 am.

Trade deals stood at 32896 with transaction at Tk 1444.05 million.

Of the issues traded, 130 advanced, 91 declined and 54 remained unchanged.

LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 127.35 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8672.89 by gaining over 21.24 points at 11:36am.

Out of the issues traded, 71 gained, 78 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
